Every Champion In WWE (And Who Should Beat Them)

It's a New Day, yes it is!

WWE currently has 18 championships filling out its product. EIGHTEEN.

That's a far cry from the days of one World Title, a secondary belt and some tag-team trophies. Things seemed so simple back then, but they're convoluted beyond belief in 2020, and there's no sign that such belt busyness will stop any time soon. In fact, there's always a chance WWE will add more to the line up (NXT doesn't have a dedicated female tag division, for example).

Expecting every single champ in the company to simultaneously be the absolute best they could be is probably unrealistic - WWE life comes at you quickly, and there's rarely much room for sentiment when decisions are made in creative meetings. Vince McMahon and staff are constantly looking at what's next, and that's what this article is all about too.

Each champion is listed, then replaced by someone who should beat them for their title. You're not going to agree with every choice made here, but therein lies the fun. Everyone reading this will have their own picks, or may hate the thought of a firm fave losing their belt in the first place...
