Yours truly is still salty about the fact that LA Knight beat Cameron Grimes to the punch in that stirring ladder bout at NXT TakeOver: In Your House this past June. Grimes, with his weirdly endearing everyman-who-dreams-big persona, would've been ideal for skits with Ted DiBiase, but WWE fancied Knight for the spot instead.
They still have time to put things right and give Cam the title reign he deserves. There's more to Grimes as champ than LA - WWE just need to give Cameron the chance to prove it. Hopefully, that's where they're headed long-term.
