Generally, dropping main roster acts onto NXT feels lazy. However, New Day did bridge the gap nicely between Pretty Deadly and Gallus. Deploying Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as buffers wasn't the worst idea, especially when they've got immediate credibility with fans and don't get affected by losing.
Prediction: Chad Gable and Otis, as babyfaces, will "SHOOOOOOSH" their way to NXT and tangle with Wolfgang and Mark Coffey soon. That sounds way more inspiring than having Gallus war with most other teams on the full-time NXT roster for the rest of the year, to be honest.
Give Gallus a feud win or two, then Alpha Academy can take them to school.
