WWE's choices are rather limited when it comes to the Cruiserweight Title. Santos Escobar has emerged as a quality sub for out-of-commission Jordan Devlin in recent months, but he's probably not the promotion's long-term pick to lead the division.

Drake Maverick might not be either, but it would be a milestone moment for the tiny Brit if he won his second singles title in the company (Mav is a former six-time 24/7 Champ, if you've forgotten) soon. He has the chops to play inspiring underdog babyface better than most, and would relish even a short run with the belt.

Escobar can always regain it if WWE decide to move on from Devlin full-time.
