Champion: GUNTHER

Who Should Beat Him: John Cena

Some would argue that there's no room for sentimentality when WWE is busily creating stars of the future left, right and centre. That's fair, but John Cena's final run ever (supposedly) could be the promotion's last chance to give him another whirl as champion. That might mean GUNTHER doing the honours for 'Super Cena'.

What's that? No, nobody invited Vince McMahon back into booking meetings. This obviously runs the risk of blunting GUNTHER's edge slightly, but he's good enough to recover once the confetti stops falling on Cena's in-ring retirement tour. Besides, like with Logan Paul, just think of the mainstream attention if John was strolling around Hollywood circles literally carrying a big WWE logo.

Time to shatter Ric Flair's record, Cena.
