Every Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Central Intelligence

Central Intelligence Kevin Hart Dwayne Johnson

In much the same way that Johnson successfully took us back to a golden-age of disaster movies, Central Intelligence was a long-awaited return to the classic Buddy Cop genre that dominated the early 2000s. Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour, Blue Streak, National Security, I-Spy, Bad Company, Exit Wounds, Nothing To Lose, Half Past Dead, if I had all the time back I spent watching these things in my youth I could probably learn Mandarin fluently.

Surprisingly though, Central Intelligence was a far smarter and nuanced film than the genre had really seen before, with a strong anti-bullying message and a touching central relationship between Johnson and Hart. Don't worry though, they blow plenty of sh*t up as well.
