Every Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

6. Fast Five

The Rock's debut in the F&F franchise is, according to the popular consensus, where it all peaked. Starting first as the antagonistic Long, Jacked, Arm of the Law, before eventually forming a reluctant alliance with our titular heroes, the story winds and races faster than 80% of the cars.

We open with a high-speed prison break, end with a theft on a moving train, and barely stop for breath at any point during. It feels weird to say now, but at the time Johnson brought a badly needed screen-presence to a property that was just starting to feel a bit stale after 2009's Fast & Furious. Whisper it, but he might actually be the missing ingredient that not only saved these films, but put them where they are today.
