Rumour has it that had Daniel Bryan not been injured, this match (which took place in the UK) would have seen the then Intercontinental Champion squaring off with the United States Champion in a match which would have no doubt placed much higher on this list if their bout at SummerSlam in 2013 was any indication. That wasn't meant to be though, and Cena instead squared off with Bad News Barrett. Despite some near falls, it never felt like he was going to emerge the victor though, especially after losing his own title at WrestleMania a few weeks before. That lack of drama hurt the match, but the firm support of the English crowd still added at least some excitement. A Bullhammer Elbow out of nowhere was a surprising enough moment to fool us all into thinking that Barrett might take the strap from Cena in front of a home crowd, but the match would instead end with one of those terrible springboard stunners followed by an AA. If fans felt bad for Barrett, they only showed it briefly before jumping straight into singing "John Cena Sucks"!
