Every Major WWE Black Wednesday Release Ranked From Least To Most Successful
14. Rowan
Technically speaking, Rowan hasn't done anything of note in terms of an actual match on a major stage, but his sole appearance for All Elite Wrestling must be mentioned given the circumstances.
Now known as Erick Redbeard, the former Bludgeon Brother debuted for the Tony Khan-helmed promotion on the final Dynamite episode of 2020. That episode was, of course, the Mr. Brodie Lee memorial show - Rowan's long-time tag partner in both The Bludgeon Brothers and The Wyatt Family.
Appearing during the episode's six-man tag between Inner Circle representatives MJF, Ortiz, and Santana against Adam Page and The Dark Order's Alex Reynolds and John Silver. Redbeard took care of Wardlow, as 'Mr. Mayhem' attempted to interfere on MJF's behalf, before returning post-match.
This is where things got real.
The former Erick Rowan beared a sign for 'The Exalted One', reading "Goodbye for now my brother. See you down the road". Talk about emotional. The personal relationship between Rowan and Luke Harper, as Brodie was known in WWE, was evident here.
Aside from this, Redbeard hasn't done much in-ring work since departing WWE. An easy asset to any promotion in the henchmen role, expect to see Erick crop up in plenty promotions further down the line.
