Every Match From WWE SummerSlam 2016 Ranked - From Worst To Best
12. Tag Titles: The New Day (c) Vs. Gallows & Anderson
Result: Big E runs down to the ring and wails on Gallows and Anderson, resulting in a DQ loss for the champs (9:09).
Rating: This was a rock solid tag match that did nothing wrong for the most part, but honestly just wasn't massively interesting, yet it was Jon Stewart interrupting a match for the second SummerSlam in a row that basically completely sank the ending.
Someone, somewhere apparently thought this was a good idea, and it was essentially a discredit to everyone who wasn't Jon Stewart. It didn't help that this followed easily the Match of the Night, and the New Day scored the win solely to hold the titles for over a year, which seemed cynical and pointless.
