Every NJPW G1 Climax Entrant Ranked From Least To Most Likely To Win
5. Minoru Suzuki
Minoru Suzuki returns to the G1 after his two-year stint with Pro Wrestling NOAH. It's hard to believe that in all his years of breaking faces, Suzuki has never won the tournament, nor has he even reached the finals.
Suzuki goes into this year's gauntlet with a slim chance of winning, which is relatively decent given the remaining competitors on this list. His relevance at the top of the card comes with his role as the leader of one of NJPW's factions, albeit the weakest one. He also has proven his capability in big match scenarios with his dissection of Okada at the start of the year.
Suzuki's credibility means he will provide a tough out for the members of his block, and could even make it to the finals.
Don't rule out The Lonely Warrior too soon.
