Every NJPW G1 Climax Entrant Ranked From Least To Most Likely To Win

Like Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata, Togi Makabe acts as a credible veteran entrant. But like Kojima and Nagata, Makabe's role is not about winning.

Makabe is headed into his 13th G1 Climax, and even has a win to his name back in 2009. So many premier talents have arisen since then, however, that Makabe has had to construct a new place for himself in the company. That place was alongside Tomoaki Honma as an entertaining, smash-mouth tag team.

Makabe will sadly head into G1 Climax 27 without his partner, but will no doubt do plenty of damage and provide some of the young guns with a valuable, stature-enhancing win.
