Paul Heyman pushed so hard to feature CM Punk prominently in both OVW and ECW between 2005 and 2006 that both believe it harmed his chances with a stubborn Vince McMahon. Meanwhile, 'The Voice Of The Voiceless' dropping the line featured in the very title of this article into his 2011 "Pipe Bomb" was the first time Heyman had been in a WWE conversation sine his acrimonious 2006 exit.

They were - for the worse and finally better of their careers - a perfect match.
