Every Post-Return Edge WWE Match Ranked Worst To Best
2. Roman Reigns (Money In The Bank 2021)
World Wrestling Entertainment has had a somewhat shaky time as of late. They've been haemorrhaging some great stars (by their own volition), getting poor ratings and garnering plenty of criticism from fans and professionals. However, Money in the Bank was a glimmer of hope.
This great event was filled with instant classics and some exciting twists, and the main event certainly helped to deliver on that. Of course, seeing Edge and Roman finally go one on one needed to be huge, and while there are plenty of drawbacks thanks to the reliance on WWE tropes, the bout still delivered.
Edge and Reigns went to war in this main event. The slow start seemed to be damning at first, as it was tough for fans to get invested in the plodding pace. But, it hit its mark in the latter stages, shifting into an adrenaline-filled showdown.
The involvement of a ref bump and interference was slightly aggravating. Still, the story on display kept you invested, and there were plenty of moments where it genuinely felt like Edge would be taking the title home.
It was full of twists, turns, and plenty of drama, which - while not everyone's cup of tea - made it a worthy ending to a fantastic pay-per-view.
