By a million miles. Heck, by plural million miles. It isn't even close, hence the 'million miles' remark.

The very first women's match at SummerSlam took place in 1994, that weird show that had a MOTY steel cage match between Bret and Owen Hart but was headlined by The Undertaker vs. The Underfaker. One of those two matches was fantastic, and it wasn't the one that featured two zombies.

But I digress. The first match saw champion Alundra Blayze defend her title against the legendary Bull Nakana, and boy oh boy was this a riot. Bull Nakano was one stiff worker, and she spares Blayze no quarter in this nine-minute sprint. Bull lays a beating on the champion, putting her in a variety of positions that quite frankly were ahead of the rest of the non-Hart roster at the time.

Blayze somehow manages to pull off the win, however, Bull missing a top rope legdrop that clearly would have murdered her opponent before getting hit with a delightful German Suplex for the 1-2-3. The crowd went bonkers for the finish.

If Sasha and Charlotte gets a crowd as such, we're in for something special this weekend.
