Every The Fiend WWE Pay Per View Match Ranked Worst To Best
4. Daniel Bryan (Survivor Series 2019)
After the rocky road of The Fiend's feud with Seth Rollins, this match marked a shift in gears, and a new lease of life for both Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan.
Bryan was still in the process of shaking off the last maniacal nuances of his recently ditched heel gimmick, and going one on one with Bray's monster was a progressive opportunity he could really sink his teeth into. It's no surprise then that the two were able to bring out a lot in each other.
Bryan’s high-flying antics and athletic relentlessness greatly complemented Bray’s ability to take hard hits and heavy bumps, as well as put over The Fiend's patented indestructibility. Amidst all the theatrics, Bray Wyatt is a genuinely great wrestler. He simply needed a slick dude like Bryan to validate that fact.
Likewise, Daniel Bryan succeeded in maintaining relevance by entering the fray of Wyatt's ongoing carnage. With further changes in his gimmick and image on the horizon, his immersion into The Fiend's world was a good work. In short, both parties did well from this.
