4. TakeOver: Unstoppable

TakeOver: Unstoppable was the earliest example of Finn adding some unique accoutrements to the already well-established appearance of the Demon. While Bálor’s first two channellings of the character were focused on the elaborate body paint and small accents like the dreadlock headdress, this incarnation saw the first addition of a unique entrance attire.

The Demon crawled and slithered his way to the ring adorned with black bat-like wings hanging from his arms. The piece also featured a spiked spinal column at Finn’s back, but the most eye catching tweak was seen when the wings were removed prior to the match. Painted on Bálor's back was a Sauron-like eye cracking through his skin -- a design which itself saw later evolutions at SummerSlam 2016 and other events.

The Demon may have been channelled prior, but it was now seemingly forcing its way out of Bálor as it broke through his skin. The other noticeable addition was that of bloodstained scratches and claw marks to Finn’s thighs. Frankly, just like the TakeOver event itself, it seemed the Demon within could not be stopped from breaking free.
