Every WCW Halloween Havoc Ranked Worst To Best
6. 1994
We never got to see Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair in WWE, though Havoc 1994's steel cage match helped make up for the frustrations of 1992. It was a great piece of pro-wrestling pantomime. There's a lot going on with Mr. T as the referee, multiple interferences, and other tropes, but each was well-played, and it all went down before a fired-up crowd that lapped everything up.
Flair's retirement stipulation didn't last - because of course it didn't - but this was an earnestly great match and a step up from their Clash of the Champions battle. Less exciting was Brother Bruti's reveal as the mysterious masked man who'd been plaguing Hogan, which came after the bout. WCW, in true WCW fashion, found a way to immediately put a dampener on something awesome.
There's not much to the rest of the card. Really, Halloween Havoc 1994 is a one-match show, though the dull resthold-heavy opener between Honky Tonk Man and Johnny B. Badd should be avoided by everyone except those looking for an insomnia cure. Dave Sullivan vs. Kevin Sullivan should tick your so-bad-it's-good box, particularly with Dave's Hulkamania tribute bit in full flow.
