6. Chris Benoit Vs. Kurt Angle (c) Vs. Chris Jericho - WrestleMania 2000

Before doing the research for this article, I was convinced that this match would be top five at the very, very least. I mean, come on, it is Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, and Chris Jericho, three men who could all lay claim to being the best in-ring performer of a generation. This is as close to a dream triple threat as WWE could find at the time. This match was for the two titles that Angle held at the time, the Intercontinental Championship and European Championship. It would be a match with two falls, the first for the IC title and the second for the Euro equivalent. I completely forgot that Bob Backlund had managed Angle prior to this, and crazy Uncle Bob was the one who had put both belts on the line. Predictably, Angle goes on to lose both belts without being involved in either fall, giving him a reason to stay in the hunt for both. As with a number of matches on the list this is hurt by a lack of time, something that resonates even more here as there were two falls within 14 minutes. Still, it was Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho, so there wasn't too much to complain about.
