EVERY Wrestler AEW Has Ever Released - Where Are They Now?
7. Jimmy Havoc
Not to be confused with the AFI singer of similar style and name, English fighter Jimmy Havoc began his career in hardcore wrestling before transitioning to the outer edge of the mainstream with Insane Championship Wrestling, a traditional-hardcore mixed promotion where he would enjoy sporadic appearances across several years.
After spending the better part of a decade as a mainstay with Progress Wrestling, going from babyface underdog to one of the promotion's main contenders (and, of course, a couple years returning to WCPW/Defiant), Havoc signed with AEW in early 2019 and debuted at the Double or Nothing pre-show battle royale.
Despite an eventful year and a half wrestling 24 matches for the promotion, it all came tumbling down following the #SpeakingOut movement in June 2020. The expansive social media movement saw Havoc and a number of other wrestlers accused of physical and emotional abuse by previous partners. After Havoc had undergone treatment and counselling for his mental health and substance abuse challenges, AEW released him.
Given the nature of the allegations against him, expectations are that he will not be returning to the ring in the future.
