EVERY Wrestler AEW Has Ever Released - Where Are They Now?

8. Sadie Gibbs

Kylie Rae
STARDOM

Sadie Gibbs made her wrestling debut in Ohio Valley Wrestling back in 2015, competing as Amazing Grace in a battle royal, which was ultimately won by Jessie Belle Smothers. After a few years of smaller events spent wrestling under her own name, Gibbs spent less than a month with Japanese women's promotion Stardom in early 2019 and, thanks in no small part to the impact she made with fans, springboarded from there to the AEW.

Another early signing for the promotion, Gibbs made her debut at the Women's Casino Battle Royale during the All Out PPV. But, much like CIMA, the English star suffered from the global pandemic's restrictions and was ultimately released from her contract in 2020 due to an inability to travel.

Gibbs retired from pro wrestling in 2021, as the pandemic continued to wreak havoc on her professional prospects, and has since put all of her focus into her fitness career, some short film work and a self-development book. Nonetheless, she has still left the door open for a possible return in the future.
