Every Wrestler At AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 - Where Are They Now?

8. Team Shida

Two thirds of this team went onto do really good stuff in AEW.

Let's get the one who didn't out of the way first. Very little can be found about Ryo Mizunami online apart from that she's an independent wrestler in Japan. This appearance at Double or Nothing is her only one for AEW to date.

As for her teammates, they stuck around a little while longer.

Riho (who very confusingly had basically the same name as Mizunami) would go onto become the first ever AEW Women's World Champion, defeating Nyla Rose on the very first edition of Dynamite. Sadly, her championship reign was hindered by her international schedule, meaning she was very rarely on TV other than to defend the title. She lost the gold to Nyla earlier this year.

As for Hikaru Shida, she's slowly become one of the most popular female performers on the roster. Agile, powerful, and (most importantly) actually there for TV, Shida has been rewarded for her talent and loyalty to AEW with a championship match against Rose at this year's Double or Nothing.

AEW fans had high hopes for the joshi wrestlers on Double or Nothing I. Whilst things may not have worked out for all of them, there have been some big success stories coming out of this six-woman tag.
