Every Wrestling DEATH Ranked By Stupidity

2. Al Wilson’s Sex-Related Heart Attack (WWE)

It's perhaps the most 'Attitude' into 'Ruthless Aggression' era thing ever that a pensioner died on screen due to being oversexed by one of the Divas. In 2003, Torrie Wilson's dad Al suffered a heart attack whilst romping with Torrie's rival Dawn Marie. The couple had been married (as part of Dawn's creepy fascination with getting closer to Torrie), but poor Al just couldn't keep up with the lovemaking.

He was in trouble as soon as Dawn modelled outfits she'd worn in various Divas-related magazine shoots of the day. Here's the thing: Al wasn't some actor hired in by WWE to play the role of Torrie's father. This was actually her shoot dad, and here he was being written out because a fellow Diva was making sexual demands ol' Al just couldn't live up to.

Commentators like Michael Cole and Tazz practically high-fived one another once it became clear that Al and Dawn Marie were going to become an item. This era of WWE was raunchy. Sure, the whole story was played for laughs in the end, but it's still pretty awkward to sit down and revisit today.

WWE ran one of those 'in Loving Memory' graphics for Al on SmackDown in 2003 following his storyline passing. Sadly, Torrie's father would die for real in 2019. In a spooky touch, he did so mere days before his daughter was set to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Al Wilson will go down in company history as one of the strangest on screen deaths ever.
