Every Wrestling Rookie Of The Year: Where Are They Now?

11. 2012: Dinastia

Essa Rios Lita
AAA

At 4' 11", Dinastia is in the strange position of not being a "mini" in the traditional sense, but has been stigmatised through his height. Many hardcore lucha fans believe that he should have been featured in other divisions. The kip-up-happy Dinastia works (or worked) at warp speed, was very crisp working an ambitious style that can go awry quite often, and may well have boasted the best standing/running shooting star press in the game in his pomp.

A step slower these days, he currently reigns with the World Mini-Estrella Championship in AAA, but that promotion doesn't give a sh*t about titles at the best of times, and it is particularly true in this case.
