Every Wrestling Rookie Of The Year: Where Are They Now?

12. 2011: Daichi Hashimoto

Essa Rios Lita
Big Japan Pro Wrestling

The son of the legendary Shinya Hashimoto. there was a certain romance to his first foray into wrestling that, in retrospect, swayed the voter base. He worked his father's Three Musketeer peer, in his third match, in what was a spirited, well-patrolled losing effort. Probably more nice than good, but still.

He obviously never made it anywhere near his father's legendary status, but Daichi, after falling off the radar, has earned plaudits - albeit in super niche circles - for his bruising work for Big Japan Pro Wrestling.
