I didn't think I'd be writing about this match in 2016 with the brothers still feuding, let alone putting on some of the most entertaining garbage wrestling going. That is exactly what is happening, however, and it is difficult to watch this match today without thinking of the frankly glorious Final Deletion.

This was the final match in their 2009 feud, and despite Matt dominating the feud for most of the time, Jeff picked up the win here. One thing you know you're going to get with the Hardy Boyz is creativity, and there was plenty of that here including a visual finish of Matt tapping out to no avail.

The finish proper comes when Jeff ties Matt to a table and threatens to jump through it, forcing Matt to quit and apologise for his sins. It is redemption for Jeff, who still decides to go through the table, because why not (legitimately breaking Matt's hand in the process).

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
