In a rare occurrence, The Undertaker wrestled a non-WrestleMania match at this year's Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. To mark the occasion, we saw the return of the Casket Match as The Phenom took on the Bulgarian Brute, Rusev.

After ‘Taker’s painfully long match with Roman Reigns at last year’s WrestleMania and his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it squash with John Cena this year, the WWE Universe wasn’t sure what to expect from this one. But it actually turned out to be a pleasant surprise. With solid back-and-forth action, The Undertaker and Rusev went toe-to-toe for the majority of the bout. The Deadman kept up with his younger opponent throughout the respectably short match, while Rusev put up a great fight and didn’t get buried like we feared he would. It was also nice to see some of the traditional Casket Match mind games employed by ‘Taker – who fed off Rusev’s fear of the casket.

But the real story here was The Undertaker’s performance. A decade since his last Casket Match, The Deadman proved that he still had gas left in the tank and delivered his strongest outing in quite some time.
