Hulk Hogan wasn’t just the WWF’s biggest star in the '80s, he was the WWF in the '80s. He began the '90s as the champion, still in the midst of his second title reign. Although dropping it to Warrior, never doubt Vince’s dependence on the Hulkster. Hogan won it the following year against Sgt. Slaughter, and held the title for 248 days. At Survivor Series, he lost the title to The Undertaker in a screwy fashion, and won it back six days later... and was stripped of it due to winning in a screwy fashion.

Hogan’s final championship run came in 1993, when he barged in on WrestleMania IX's main event and defeated Yokozuna in 22 seconds after Yoko had beaten Bret Hart. Hogan proceeded to appear sporadically on TV in the months that followed, talked his way out of putting over Bret at SummerSlam, and then dropped the belt back to Yokozuna before leaving the company for nine years. What a guy.

A crappy final reign aside, Hogan’s golden era had its final hurrah at the start of the '90s, and while people began to cool to him during this time, it’s still vintage Hulkamania worth checking out.
