Rob Van Dam brilliantly bantered off the WWE Championship on the first ever edition of the company's ECW reboot as he celebrated defeating John Cena and bringing Extreme Championship Wrestling's top prize out from the cold. He was wise to while he got the chance.

"It spins", he joked, having previously discussed the prestige of the Philadelphia strap shelved since the company had gone out of business five years earlier. Van Dam was out of the title picture within weeks after a Wellness Policy violation, but the brief visual of seeing him atop the moutain was enough for most.
