Every WWE Elimination Chamber Match Ranked Worst To Best
9. 2009 World Heavyweight Championship
While the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match earlier in the night was a solid affair, it was in a way a precursor for what would come in the main event.
Edge, still fuming after his embarrassing performance earlier in the night, ambushed Kofi Kingston during his entrance and took him out with a con-chair-to. The Ultimate Opportunist lived up to his name as he then entered the Chamber and took Kofi's spot in the match.
The surprises were not over here, as Kane only spent four minutes in the match and was the first man eliminated. Then John Cena was eliminated after only a minute-and-a-half in the bout, continuing the trend of short outings for defending champions inside the Chamber. Chris Jericho was the master strategist fans had come to expect at this point in his career, and Rey Mysterio was the typical daredevil high flyer fans loved. In the end, however, Edge took down Mysterio and won the World Heavyweight Championship.
Topping a whirlwind of a night for The Rated-R Superstar, was an Elimination Chamber match for the ages.
