While the World Heavyweight Championship Chamber match earlier in the night left a lot to be desired, much of that void was filled by this war. The field might not have been as stacked when compared to other Elimination Chamber matches, but the likes of JBL, Umaga, and Jeff Hardy were all welcome additions making their debuts in the Chamber.

While JBL was the first to be eliminated, a vicious beat down of all the other competitors kept Bradshaw looking strong. Umaga went on a tear of his own, and was only put down after a Code Breaker, Sweet Chin Music, Pedigree, and Swanton Bomb - truly selling how much of a monster Umaga was. Chamber match veterans Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and Triple H showed off their experience by utilizing the Chamber structure perfectly.

Many fans thought this would be the night Jeff Hardy would finally begin his ascent to winning a World Championship in WWE, and he showed out in a big way. Flying around the chamber, Swanton Bombs off of the pods, and the support of the entire WWE Universe, all of this showed that The Charismatic Enigma was ready for the big time. In the end, WWE made the safe choice by having the reliable Triple H win and go on to main event WrestleMania 24.

While it was the safe choice, it was the result of one of the best Elimination Chamber matches in history.
