Shayna Baszler had a, let’s say, interesting debut of biting Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in the neck. Following this, it was clear this Elimination Chamber match was put together exclusively to get over The Queen of Spades as a legitimate challenger to The Man going into WrestleMania 36.

The early star of the match was Sarah Logan, who brought some of the only high-risk offense on display. Unfortunately, some of that risk crashed and burned as Logan jumped off a pod and hit Natalya square in the face, legitimately injuring the long-time veteran.

Things escalated quickly as for the only time in the match’s history, The Queen of Spades eliminated every other competitor in the Elimination Chamber, making Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Natalya, Liv Morgan and Asuka either tap out or pass out en route to victory. While this was an excellent showcase for Baszler, the predictability of the outcome hurt the match’s legacy. Additionally, it did appear that the Elimination Chamber was too big of a spotlight for the still-improving Logan and Liv Morgan.

What saves this from being a complete dud was the highly anticipated first encounter between The Queen of Spades and Asuka, ending the match on a high note.
