Every WWE Elimination Chamber Match Ranked Worst To Best
24. 2003 World Heavyweight Championship
While this is arguably the most star-studded field in Elimination Chamber history, it doesn't save this match from being an absolute clunker.
This is one of many examples where the wrong man won, as a legitimately injured Triple H had no business defeating Goldberg. This was the first instance of WWE choosing to highlight a wrestler like Goldberg but not pulling the trigger on having them win. While Goldberg, Jericho, Michaels and Orton all held their own, Kevin Nash frankly did not belong in this match. It was long past the former Diesel's heyday and he had made it clear he returned to WWE in 2002 just for the payday.
Triple H, sporting the infamous biker shorts due to a severely strained groin, avoided nearly all the action until the finish. While it was very gutsy for The Game to even perform on this night, he should have sat this match out entirely.
Given that Triple H dropped the title a month later to Goldberg, this was the perfect chance to crown Da Man the new World Heavyweight Champion. WWE chose not to, surely with much input from The Game himself, and this all leads to this being on the lower end of the Elimination Chamber's history.
