No Way Out 2008 was the first of what has become a yearly tradition of having two Elimination Chamber matches in one night. One issue with this is that fans have no choice but to compare both matches, and this SmackDown affair fell far short of its Raw counterpart.

Featuring midcard talent such as MVP, Finlay, and Big Daddy V, as well as The Great Khali who was on the way down following his undefeated streak, meant there were only two possible winners in Batista and The Undertaker. The story and action of Batista and winner 'Taker starting and ending the match saves this from being truly bad.

However, the match trudged through large parts as necessitated by Big Daddy V and Great Khali. This meant most of the match was slow, and downright clumsy, two words that should never be synonymous with The Elimination Chamber.
