Here was another idea that seemed workable on the drawing board: A mixed tag match under a main event spotlight. On this particular occasion however, it just wasn't to be. In order to bring some fleeting kayfabe qualities to Seth Rollins' and Becky Lynch's real life relationship, their titles were rendered up for grabs. The challengers? Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.

Whilst Seth and Becky's in-ring chemistry was effortlessly entertaining, Baron and Lacey seemed awfully out of place, and appeared to be there solely to put over the couples story of Rollins and Lynch. Corbin did his thing and Evans had her moments but this was simply not the setting to propel their careers in any workable fashion.

A supposed highlight came when Seth lost his cool and unleashed hell for leather on Corbin, who'd just performed an unsavoury attack on his fiancée. Whilst dramatic, people probably would have preferred to see Becky get the job done herself. It was only Corbin for heaven's sake.

Brock Lesnar turned up to cash in and squash the whole thing anyhow, as per. It neither subtracted nor provided for the event.
