8. Seth Rollins Vs. Randy Orton (2015)
Following Seth Rollins' classic WrestleMania Money in the Bank steal, his bickering with Randy Orton and the internal politics of The Authority continued in steel cage format. The match wasn't really bad, but not exactly great either.
Here, we had another example of a payoff not being able to live up to the hype. The bulk of the event was a little tired, with a few hard hitting moments at the end to rescue pace. Rollins and Orton pulled off some good hits, but should have been capable of a whole lot more.
The proclaimed doorkeeper, Kane, turned out to be the irrefutable highlight of the match. Having shooed off J&J Security with relative composure, his supposed corporate guise began to waver under the responsibility of keeping the main characters of the piece in line. After finally snapping, Kane lost it and took out just about everyone. Old habits die hard, and it was a rarity to see an interesting dimension to his Corporate/Authority gimmick.
In spite of all this, the overall climax of the match left much to be desired.
