Every WWE Last Man Standing Match Ranked - From Worst To Best

5. The Rock Vs. Mankind - St. Valentine's Day Massacre

At long last, kicking off our top five we have the very first-ever Last Man Standing match, with the Rock vs. Mankind from the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre In Your House event in 1999.

The two gave a great demonstration of the chaos that the match was capable of causing. They brawled from the ring, to the stage, to the backstage area, bashing one another into anything and everything they could find on their abridged tour of the arena.

Back in the ring, we saw the staple weapons such as stairs and chairs added to the mix, while The Rock also provided some lighter entertainment with a brief contribution on commentary.

Sure, the inconclusive finish may have left many dissatisfied, but in some ways it only further demonstrated the unpredictability of this match type.

Okay, maybe I’m being a little kind there, but for the debut showing of the Last Man Standing match this was an awesome effort nonetheless.
