9. Carmella - SmackDown April 10, 2018

With James Ellsworth’s help in winning the inaugural women’s Money in the Bank match, and again in a rematch on the following SmackDown, Carmella held onto the briefcase for a record-breaking 287 days. Over the next nine months, The Princess of Staten Island would drop her association with Ellsworth and go on to make several unsuccessful attempts to make use of her contract.

Following a beatdown from NXT wrestlers, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, was incapacitated, and made easy pickings for Carmella.

Carmella screamed at the ref for the match to begin and immediately struck Flair with a Princess Kick. Carmella got the win to a surprisingly positive reaction from the crowd and went on to defend her title for four months before losing it back to The Queen in a Triple Threat match which also featured Becky Lynch.

Despite her reign being rather successful, The Fabulous One hasn't been reached the top spot since losing it at SummerSlam 2018.
