EVERY WWE Money In The Bank Cash-In Ranked From Worst To Best
16. Brock Lesnar - Extreme Rules 2019
The Money in the Bank Ladder match from the 2019 instalment of the event was met with a lot of criticism. Earlier on the show, Sam Zayn had been taken out backstage, rendering him unable to compete for the contract and an empty slot was left open. Towards the end of the match, the talented, but poorly booked, Ali was touching the briefcase before Lesnar entered as Zayn's replacement. One push of the ladder, Ali's opportunity was gone, and the fresh Brock won the match with ease.
After obtaining the briefcase, Brock was surprisingly entertaining during this period. Appearing on episodes of RAW using the briefcase as a reggaeton spewing boombox, Brock Party and his advocate Part-E Dangerously would hold off declaring when and where Lesnar would use his MITB opportunity.
After being victorious at Extreme Rules in a Universal and RAW Women’s Championship mixed tag team match with his partner, Becky Lynch, against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, Seth Rollins was promptly attacked by The Beast Incarnate. One german suplex and an F-5 later, Lesnar was once again Universal Champion.
