Time With Contract Before Cash-In: 70 Days

The first winner to call his shot, Rob Van Dam took a different approach to Edge when he procured his golden ticket at WrestleMania 22.

Spying ECW's One Night Stand and subsequent relaunch on the horizon, RVD boldly inserted himself as a potential headliner for both by calling out John Cena for the show. 'The Champ' duly obliged and the cash-in was instead a main event fast-track rather than an opportunistic surprise.

Van Dam was rewarded for his guile - the clash was a minor classic, and 'Mr Monday Night' proudly became the first ever WWE/ECW World Heavyweight Champion.
