Every WWE Money In The Bank Winner Ranked Worst to Best
3. Seth Rollins (2014)
Speaking of Authority members who got a shot in the arm.
After turning on the Shield, Seth Rollins got a golden opportunity (literally, the briefcase was now painted gold) by winning Money in the Bank. After holding onto it for months and building his fanbase in acclaimed matches, Rollins did the greatest cash-in in WWE history, bar none, turning an already great WrestleMania main event into an instant classic.
From there, Rollins had a reign that earned him the fans’ vote for Superstar of the Year 2015, consistently having the best matches on the card and engaging in top-notch feuds with the likes of Dean Ambrose and John Cena. While he may have been booked rather weak as a world champion, Rollins made the most out of his spotlight and showed just how damn good he was.
It’s safe to say he’s nearly at the same place is now as he was then, but Rollins is still held in high regard by WWE, and given what we saw of him in 2015, there’s no doubt he can return to those heights again. Still, that initial singles run as a result of Money in the Bank is enough to put him in the top three on this list.
