Every WWE Money In The Bank Winner Ranked Worst to Best

13. Sheamus (2015)

Sheamus’ Money in the Bank win was doomed from the start. Mainly because nobody wanted to see Sheamus win. This was not because he was a heel, but because nobody cared about him and stupid new mohawk and braided beard (hence the "You look stupid" chants). Plus, Sheamus had been struggling for years to make a solid connection with fans, having dropped down the card since losing the World Heavyweight Championship in late-2012.

There’s nothing wrong with putting the briefcase on someone who’s already been a main-eventer (as we’ll see), but it needs to be used as an opportunity to really reinvigorate someone’s career. Instead, Sheamus was stuck in heatless midcard feuds throughout the summer and fall, and eventually, he cashed in on Roman Reigns in the main event of Survivor Series, forming the League of Nations in the process with Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, and Wade Barrett. For the next 22 days, fans completely rejected the program between Reigns (who they hated) and Sheamus (who they still didn’t care about). Their match at the TLC pay-per-view was hijacked by the crowd, and the next night on RAW, Sheamus dropped the title to Reigns in the main event. From there, Sheamus and the League fell right down the card until dissolving, and Sheamus was left with nothing.

Way to waste our time!
