Every WWE NXT TakeOver: Dallas Wrestler - Where Are They Now?
10. American Alpha
The Revival's opponents in Texas (and eventual winners of the NXT Tag Titles) were a team that had only been put together a few months earlier.
American Alpha consisted of powerhouse Jason Jordan and technical wizard Chad Gable. Their odd couple pairing got extremely over quickly, culminating in this incredibly emotional victory that left Jordan (and more than a few people watching) in tears.
They lost the belts back to The Revival just 2 months later before getting called up. Then, the pair won the SmackDown tag belts but were broken up in 2017 when Jordan was revealed as Kurt Angle's son. Gable has remained a solid midcarder in WWE ever since. These days, he's better known as the original El Grande Americano, and he's been gearing up for a potential WrestleMania match with Ludwig Kaiser's version.
As for Jordan, his in-ring career was cut short after sustaining a neck injury in 2018. He now works as a producer and regularly pops up on TV to break up fights, look outraged, and make Fit Finlay look small. Things never quite worked out for the American Alpha boys, either as a unit or on their own.
They deserved much better.
