Every WWE NXT TakeOver: Dallas Wrestler - Where Are They Now?
7. Sami Zayn
The best match to take place in Dallas featured none other than workhorse Sami Zayn.
The lovable Canadian had risen up the ranks to become one of the faces of the black and gold brand by 2016. Unfortunately, it took a bit of time for him to find similar success on the main roster. After his call-up following TakeOver: Dallas, Zayn floundered in the midcard for years. He would threaten to explode into the main event every now and then, only to get cut down time and time again.
Then, The Bloodline happened.
What began as a comedy storyline between Zayn and Roman Reigns blossomed into the one of the most complex and gripping storylines in wrestling history. The 3 PLE run of Zayn betraying the faction, facing Reigns in Canada, and then teaming up with Kevin Owens to defeat The Usos was simply out of this world.
In 2026, Zayn has recently won the United States Championship yet again. Fans are speculating that this push is in preparation for WrestleMania 43, which is currently set to be held in Saudi Arabia.
