Every WWE Raw Intro Ranked – From Worst To Best
5. 2001
A couple of entries back we had an intro set to the tune of
“Thorn in Your Eye” by Slamjam. Here we have another, however the key
difference is that this time it was the song’s outro that was used, which almost sounds
like a totally different track.
Furthermore, the song then transitioned into “We're All Together Now” by the same band, which would play during the obligatory arena-wide pyro extravaganza to create one of the most spectacular intros we’ve ever seen on Raw.
And we haven’t event mentioned the actual video package yet. A who’s who of wrestling icons were displayed, from Undertaker to Kurt Angle to the Rock to Stone Cold Steven Austin, and yet there was still space for clips of Edge spearing Jeff Hardy whilst dangling above the ring, Shane McMahon falling off of the stage and Bubba Ray Dudley going through four—yes, four—tables after taking a tumble from a ladder.
No wonder the turn of the millennium is seen as one of the hottest periods in wrestling history…
