Every WWE Raw Intro Ranked – From Worst To Best

18. 1994

After a year of service, Raw retired the original intro and replaced it with a slightly improved version.

Not that the music itself had changed as we still opened with the classic tune and its thudding kick drum under that growling guitar riff. The graphics meanwhile, were rather different.

Now we were seeing more talent showcased, such as Diesel, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Yokozuna as well as an eerie shot of the Undertaker's silhouette from behind. Not only did that give the show a more distinctive image, but it also helped establish who the real stars of the time were. That was of course crucial during the “new generation” era when the likes of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage were being replaced by a roster of younger upstarts.

A slight improvement, but still a little too eager to get in those special effects, which really aren’t all that special when we look back on them today.
