Every WWE Raw Opening Theme Song Ranked From Worst To Best

5. 'Monday Night Raw' By Jim Johnston

Used: 1993 - 1997

The funny thing about the very first opening theme of Raw is the fact that it sounds very much like a product of the era it belonged to, and yet at the time, it was far edgier than anything we'd come to expect from the old World Wrestling Federation.

It may not be as powerful as some of the tracks that came after it - many of which were by Johnston himself - but this funky composition played a major role in presenting Raw as the cool cutting-edge program it would become. It's short, but very, very sweet.

This retro composition has understandably become synonymous with the red brand and it remains superior to nearly everything that came after it.
