Then: Ex-SAnitY man Killian Dain tried his best to muscle in on the action when he and his stablemates (sans Nikki Cross) were drafted to SmackDown in 2018. Main roster life didn't really work out for any of them though, so it was back to NXT comforts by 2019.

The big bruiser from Belfast tried on a babyface run alongside Drake Maverick before being released on 25 June 2021.

Now: As aforementioned, Dain has returned to his Big Damo moniker and continued teaming with old SAnitY teammate Alexander Wolfe/Axel Tischer on the independent circuit. Together, they're a fearsome sight and one of the best powerhouse tandems currently doing the rounds in groups like ICW and Progress.

Ask countless workers who ply their trade in Scotland, England or Ireland what they think of Damo and you'll likely get a smile. He's well respected and admired for a reason. Damo played a part in helping fledgling stars like Joe Hendry get going, and that's just for starters - he's trained a lot of successful men and women over the years.

Returning to the European and UK independent scene was like a duck taking to water for the big man. He deftly slipped back into a mentors role and has worked some excellent matches whether individually or as part of the team with Tischer.

The 41 year old still has a lot of gas left in the tank, and his experience since debuting in 2005 is invaluable to those looking to rise up the ranks and reach WWE.
