Every WWE Royal Rumble's Best Performer

2009 €“ Randy Orton

The 2009 Royal Rumble match was dominated by Randall Keith Orton and his Legacy faction. With Orton being the leader of that group, it was he who stood out the most as he went on to eliminate Triple H to win the match. Having entered in the #8 spot, Orton would put in a 48-minute shift on his way to the win. In that time, there were RKOs a plenty as the move had by that point become the most over finisher in the company. Also on their way to getting over were Legacy, and this Rumble put the faction to a new level as Orton, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes all made it to the final four along with Triple H. With his lackeys eliminated by The Game, it was left to The Viper to pick up the victory by eliminating his former Evolution cohort. It has to be said, though, the €™09 Rumble really wasn€™t that much to write home about, and it was predictably all about Hunter and Orton.
