Every WWE Royal Rumble's Best Performer

2010 €“ Shawn Michaels

Another entry, another nod for Shawn Michaels. What was great about the Heartbreak Kid here is the frantic do-or-die nature of his performance as he simply had to win the Royal Rumble so that he could get himself another crack at The Undertaker€™s streak at WrestleMania later that year. Michaels would enter at #18 and last 20 minutes, and during this time he managed to rack up an impressive 10 eliminations, making him the man with the most total Royal Rumble eliminations to his name. Even more surprising was that one of these 2010 eliminations was his good buddy Triple H. As the cliché goes, the Royal Rumble really is every man for himself. Shawn would ultimately fall short in his mission to win the match, getting to the final four before eventually being eliminated by Batista, but his shock at his elimination and subsequent realisation that his dreams of challenging the streak were over only added further to HBK€™s great performance here. Luckily for fans, Michaels would manage to get one more shot at the streak, although that shot would cost him his career.
